DHS on 9/26 - crowd level 7??

Just got a notice from TP that they have changed DHS crowd level on Monday 9/26 from a 5 to a 7. Normally, I'd blame Fantasmic but that's every night now. They do have PM EMH until 12am that night - is that solely to blame? Do PM EMH in September on a Monday really have that big of an effect or is something else going on? Resort wide crowd level was just upped to a 4 on 9/26, but the numbers for the rest of the week are still pretty low. A little nervous!

I got that email too. EMH is now until 1am and there are now *two* Fantasmic! shows. The crowd level does seem a little high considering the other crowd predictions for the other parks/days. I'm glad we're going to Epcot that day

Most of the resorts are sold out too - I think the secret for September being the quietest time of year is out!

Arghhh! Is this a recent change? I just double checked my park times about 2 weeks ago, looks like I'm going to have to do it again. I have DHS planned on this day, now I'll have to see about re-arranging some ADRs

I don't know - I only looked at that day today because of the email alerting the change because I thought it was too high, only to see the extra time EMH/Fantasmic!

I changed my whole schedule around a few weeks back to avoid all the EMH days because the extra Fantasmic! shows changed all the 'Best' parks around. Now I'm at the point of "Whatever! We'll make it up as we go along".

There is one other 4 day that week. The rest are 1's and 2's. I don't know how/why it would be a 7.

Thanks for the heads up...just completely changed my plan to avoid Hollywood Studios this day. I saw it wasn't a recommended park, but figured it couldn't be that bad. Changed to Animal Kingdom!! It is totally messing up all my dining reservations though...uggghhhhhhh....stinky, stinky!!!

Based on our dining plans I'm not going to change parks for that evening. Maybe the rides won't be too bad while everyone is at fantasmic.

TP = Touring Plans. You can subscribe to their web site (also gives access to smart phone app) for around $11 for the year I believe. They give detailed plans and also advise on best parks/worst parks each day, along with projected crowd levels. There are several of these kinds of web sites out there, all that use different logic, but this is one of the more popular ones. Worth the money IMO

So far only 9/26, the rest of the week is still in good shape...

TP also changed HS Sept. 19 from a 5.3 to 7.2 which I thought was strange.

I think it is EMH hours and 2 Fantasmics that night too.
