DHS fastpass strategy for DHS

My FP day is Wednesday. My first priority is FOP for our AK day. But after I settle that one way or the other, I was wondering if the strategy I've used before at DHS is still a good one. We get there at rope drop or whatever they call it now, and go right to TSM. I use my top tier FP for rock and roller coaster and my second level one for tower of terror.
Is this still doable or have they changed "rope drop" in some way that makes it not work?

That's a very doable plan.

Just double check for when you're going though because they'll be periodically closing Toy Story to get ready for the new land opening.

This is basically what we did last month except we did sign up for JTA first and then headed over to TSMM without a fp with a minimal wait, went to SW with a fp, RnR with a fp and ToT with fp. We had all the major rides done by 11:30

That’s our plan too. RD TSMM, FP ToT, RRC, and Star Tours. Lunch at sci fi and then hopping to Epcot.

Don’t forget the underappreciated Frozen sing along. Don’t use a FP but def see it. IMO

Awesome, glad this still works. Not sure about the sing-along though, my kids are older (25, 22,19) and I've only seen Frozen once or twice. Now Moana is my grandson's favorite movie and I could lead that sing-along!

It's a good show for all ages. Plenty of jokes that go over kids heads that adults will enjoy
