Out of all the CS restaurants we ate at at the parks (and we did CS at every park) I liked FaireFax at DHS the best.

We had a chili dog and they have this yummy Southwestern salad there.

We tried Fairfax Fare for the first time last week and have to agree. It's very similar to the food at Flametree in AK, which we always like. We usually like Starring Rolls, but one of our party has a lactose intolerance, and we couldn't be sure about the bread for the sandwiches (typically, the CMs at the counter didn't know if there was lactose in the products they serve).

My boys and I (18, 8, 5) ALWAYS eat at Pizza Planet and they say it is a MUST when we got in 9 days. They talk about it all the time. They just think it is SO AWESOME to eat where Woody and Buzz were.

Food isn't "that bad".

I get that you want to go where your kiddos like the characters, but unless somethings changed? Yeah, the food is "that bad"

To the OP: I like to either hit a table service there - I love the chicken at Prime time! - or eat at a resort or Epcot for quick service.

We were just there over Thanksgiving and ate at Backlot Express. We were very happy with our decision, and it was very fresh.

My family enjoyed Backlot Express also.
We got the chicken strips and the turkey sandwich everything was good, fresh and the fries were hot.

Sorry to bring back a two-year old thread but I'd like to know how is the CS at DHS nowadays. None of the TS restaurants caught my attention and I'm trying to decide on a good place to eat on our DHS day.

What do you guys think of ABC Commissary? My pick would be the fried fish plus the asian salad. Over @ easyWDW Josh commented you can normally order any dish without the fries or the apple for $2 less. Does this apply for ABC Commissary?

My other option would be Toy Story Pizza Planet. How is the veggie/cheese pizza? How big is it? Would one pizza plus one salad be enough for two not big eaters?
