DHS boat Question

Is it possible to take the DHS boat directly to WS or do I have to get off at one of the resorts first and switch? If so, which resort should I get off at to have the quickest turnaround time? I'm staying at BWI. How often do the boats run and what is the order of the resort stops?

THe boat to DHS runs from Epcot, stops at BW, then YC/BC, S/D and finally to DHS. The return route is...S/D, YC/BC, BW, Epcot.
So, no, you don't get off and have to transfer. The boats run about every 15/20 mins. If you're at BW and you want to get to Epcot (International Gateway), you can also walk. If you start walking, at the same time the boat leaves for Epcot, you will get to Epcot about 30 secs after the boat. If there is no boat to be seen, it's much faster to just walk.
It takes under 10 mins to make the walk to the IG from BW. The boat is a short time less.

As pp said, if the boat is not around it is much faster to walk. You can also walk from DHS to BW. There is a nice path along the waterway. We do this all the time and usually get there faster than the boat.

I have taken the boat from WS to DHS. It took about 30 minutes and stopped at the resorts.
