I'm still laughing at him.
Remember last week he was on a business trip and I traded in my Grand Am for an Envoy...well today he got his payback!
He's been looking for quite some time at different motorcycles...he's always wanted a true street bike (always had dual sports)....so we've been looking at a few Suzuki dealerships around here. Serious enough that I've called our insurance agent for prices etc...
Well....last I knew, he wasnt going to get one this year...today that all changed. The bike he REALLY wanted was available for immediate delivery at a dealership we use to deal with a lot..then they sold to a bigger company and we hated it...using fake numbers- there price was 15000 for the bike...another dealer, where we recently bought DD's quad had the bike 'on order' for delivery sometime around april....when we left there DH said he would wait and see..he' hemms and haaws...i'll do it, no i shouldnt etc.... the price at this dealer...12500. (big savings!)...so anyway..
Today he comes home and says
"does silver/black match purple/black" ...so I say- well it depends, is it ALL purple/black or is there some silver in there etc... why blah blah....and he starts smirking....I'm still not catching on to what he means...
He walks into the kitchen and hands me a folded up piece of paper..I look and see first off his VISA number on it...then look up a bit and see
2004 Suzuki GSXR 1300 HUYABUSA purple/black...(his helmet is silver/black...and yes it will match now that i know what he's talking about)
LOL he bought it yesterday, put his visa as a hold while the bank does the paperwork..he picks it up tomorrow night.
I guess he ended up getting a call from the cheaper place and the guy said "it's here..come check it out"...well he did LOL
Our families think we are totally messed up to make these purchases without eachother...but we really dont see it as a problem...
funnier than that is we will discuss cheaper purchases before making them, like DD's DVD players and stuff like that LOL
