I am not sure if this is even where this post belongs but I am hoping you all can help me out.
My DH loves WDW and spends hours exploring that terra server site that has all the satellite pictures of the disney property.
We have been to WDW 12+ times and there is still so much to be discovered!
Last night he was looking at pictures and asked me to look at a piece of property to help him figure out what it is. I looked at it and it was certainly not familiar to me.
It looked like a very large private resort. The main building was kind of triangular in its construction. We zoomed in but couldn't judge how many stories tall it is but my guess is 3-6. The Mid-section is taller and square and the sidewings appear to taper down as if they are not as tall as the center. It had about a dozen tennis courts, was on a huge lake with a wide cresent shaped beach with a dock at the far left side of the lake. There were little saiboats on the beach.
This was on a 2002 terra pic. in the 98 (or was it 99 ?) pic it looked like the land was just a huge orange grove so it is relatively new. The funny thing about it was that even though it was right near DTD, you had to go way out of the way to the north and then west to get there there doesn't appear to be another entrance to it. Looked like you had to drive down a road that did not have much developement on it- still lots of greenspace in the 2002 terra pic, for a pretty good way then hand a left at an intersection then a pretty quick left again to enter the property.
I thought that I'd surprise him when he gets home tonight by asking you what it is and letting him know!
Does anyone know what that is?
