We
the Caribbean over WDW (no flaming please - I have been going to WDW since the 70s and we leave in 25 days to spend a week there). But we're very big "beach" oriented people, so give us beach & sun and we're in heaven
I've never been to Turks & Caicos but I have sailed most of the Caribbean and there is nothing like it. Tortolla is another option that is wonderful. You can also go to Culebra, PR if you like unspoiled beaches and great snorkeling & diving. We just got back from PR, St. Thomas & Tortolla, not on a cruise but just island hopping. We're not much cruise people because we love to just go to a beach for the day, snorkel, swim at our time instead of having to be back on the boat at a specific time
BTW, we're also going to the Jersey Shore in August as we do every August and it's also pretty nice. We go to Barnegat Light, Long Beach Island and my DDs love because of the bogey boarding. But they love the Caribbean for the snorkeling and the crystal blue waters
