Just got a postcard in the mail yesterday about the $10 off with the Magical Beginning promotion for BCV if you are doing an add-on.

As a joke I said to DH "I think I'll call & add these on", he said "Go ahead". I'm sure he was just kidding, but how I would love to be able to do that.

Hey he said okay. Run, don't walk, to the phone and place that order. If my hubby ever said those words, I would be off like a lightning bolt. (And he knows it, so I will never hear those words.)

I would at least make sure he was kidding, just in case he was not. You never know

You can turn back all the way till the papers are signed and returned with no hassle at all, even after the papers are signed and returned, you have some number of day...14? to think it over and cancel.

Get the paperwork sent to you, maybe when it arrives, you plan a special night to get his signature.

He said to go ahead, so make the call. He might just be letting you take the initiative so he does not have to admit he really wants more points, too. If he really does not want it, he will not sign for them.

I agree...we often say that "no means no" so therefore "yes means yes" no matter the circumstances!!!! (easy for me to say!) Besides, doesn't he know that there is NO JOKING ALLOWED when it somes to serious things like adding on??? Good luck!

Well, I'm going to post the opposing view here. I'd wait. We just did an add-on at VWL, but it took me about 1 1/2 years to get him to do it!!! Sometimes we'd talk about it and he's say, yeah sounds good to me, but I knew he wasn't ready to buy yet. Since we've always paid cash for our DVC, it's always a large chunck of change to shell out for our add-ons. Also, I know if during one of these kidding, not so serious moments, if I had called and ordered the paperwork, my DH would have KILLED me!!! So, wait and see if he's really for it!!

I haven't made the phone call yet. I think I will tell him that I did & see what the reaction is - if it's positive then I'll be on that phone pronto. If he says "what, are you kidding" I'll sigh & continue to hope for an add-on.
