DH red flagged

Last Wednesday I tried to checkin on line and DH was red flagged, which meant that we had to check in at the airport. We ended up with B boarding passes. But the skycap that checked us in stated that he needed DH's ID again and I told him that I knew we were having a problem. He asked if we were Rapid Rewards members and I said yes but forgot to enter our number. So he told me that the person at the gate would take care of that for us, which they did. When we were leaving WDW I asked the desk to print our passes and lo and behold they had no problem. We got A passes.
So if anyone is red flagged and you are a RR member make sure you enter your number and it might help.

This happened to DH and I as well. Our last name is very common and in speaking to the check-in lady she explained that for security purposes they do 'flag' people in their systems and they get an error when trying to print out their boarding passes. We too got a 'B' pass and she did have to verify our passports quite closely to whatever was on her computer screen. It was not really a huge deal, I was more worried that something was wrong with our tickets and that's why we couldn't print the passes!
