to a studio! We just came back from a 1 bedroom stay at BWV and we will NEVER go back to a studio! :rotfl2:

I think after our annual passes expire, I am going to book a trip for NO PARKS! Just hanging out, going swimming, doing all the fun community hall stuff!

We had a great time, and it was wonderful having an actual room to hang out in and watch TV (especially during the couple rainy spots of the trip!)

:lmao:

I've never stayed in a studio before however I could see how he wouldn't want to go abck to one. I like being able to have space.

We have a trip booked for next May at BLT (home resort). We got most of our dates except the first day so we waitlisted for it. My fiance curiously asked, 'Well we could always stay in another resort for that first night in a studio." I gave him the look of death :lmao:.

I saw your title and wondered what the "D" stood for in "DH" if he said you cant go back to WDW!:rotfl:

Glad to hear it's the studio! The 1 beds are awesome and really feel like home.

We enjoy our no park trips. The resorts are gorgeous and afterall, that is what we are paying for, the parks are the icing with a cherry on top!:wizard:

Agreed at least a 1 bedroom, that was the deciding factor of buying dvc for us! Actually the 2 bedrooms forced the addonitis since we have 3 teen daughters and it is soooo nice to have our own space and we all can come and go as we please.

Studios = longer trips = happier me.

No kids yet though.

Funny when we first bought a few years back & I booked a 1BR, DH said, "I though we purchased DVC so we could take longer & more frequent vacations" & I responded, "I thought we purchased so we could have a kitchen & save some money on breakfast & snacks, throw some laundry in so we could save some packing room", have room to spread out & have some privacy from the kids?" He's never mentioned it again. ;)

We enjoyed studios when the kids were little but after our trip last week--NO MORE. My son:thumbsup2 growls and snores when he sleeps and kept us up every night. I just called MS and changed our next two trips to bigger rooms.

We've been home just twice, but both times a 1 br. Can't say that I'd be especially stoked about a studio unless it was just a last minute opportunity to get to WDW. :earsboy:

Stay at a 1-bedroom in OKW and you will never go back either.

We love the 1BR's, too! I thought we'd never go back to a studio as well. However, in 10 days, we'll be trying a studio a VWL for the first time. This is sort of an extra trip in between trips, so I figure this doesn't really count! Last trip we had a 2BR, 14th floor, at BLT and that was REALLY awesome. It is so easy to get spoiled there. Have fun.
