DH is weaker today

DH was in the hospital for a day last week to see why his leg muscles are so weak. He seemed better Friday and went to Meijer with me, holding on the cart, but has been worse this weekend to the point he was crawling from the family room to the bathroom last evening. He just staggered there and back again with my help, but it took a while and it was a LOT more difficult for him. We have a call in to the GP to see what we can do. I am missing another day of work today. If he wants us to go into the office I don't know how we will get him into the truck! He has an appt. Friday but I don't want him to have to crawl around for a week. Esp. since he does not want the kids to see it.

I'm sorry to hear that, Robin. I guess they ran tests last week and sent him home. Didn't find anything? Is he taking any meds with muscle weakness as a possible side effect? I hope they find the problem and he's back to himself soon!!

Has he seen a neurologist yet? When my ds was younger he was diagnosed with a benign muscle disorder and the neurologist said he could do a muscle biopsy to give us more info but we decided not to do surgery. I would assume that a neurologist would do this on adult patients too if they suspect a muscle problem.
