Your dog about the ears or your DH about the golf clubs? :teeth: Or it could be your DH about that hat he's wearing in that picture? ;)

All of the above :teeth:

Then you need a new tag, "Family Can be Bribed With Peanut Butter" :rotfl:

** THE SAGA CONTINUES **

Well.... imagine the look on my DH's face when they deliver the luggage and his is not there :scared1:. They must have tagged his friend's luggage with DH's info and vice versa. So... his friend has his golf clubs and no luggage and DH has no clubs :rolleyes1 . He will be renting his clubs and shoes for the day and I guess hopefully they will turn up later. The airline will be reimbursing him for that.

Ooh, my husband would be seriously ticked. He would much rather lose his luggage than his golf clubs. Doesn't the airline give you a certain allowance to buy what they have lost?

Oh, man. I feel so bad for your hubby.

I have been on many golf trips to Myrtle Beach - I love the place. I can imagine the agony he is going through. You travel all that way, plan everything, and then not be able to play your own clubs!!

So, how long is he there? Where are they staying?

Does his group like barbeque ribs? I know the BEST place in Myrtle Beach for ribs.

I think so but it has to be considered "lost" for 4 days. For now, they will reimburse for rentals. They still seem to think it's coming in from Charlotte :sad2:

I hope he has good weather. We are experiencing horrible thunderstorms in the Triad. It is suppose to continue throughout the day.

My Mom is at the beach now and she said the weather has been great the past couple of days. I hope for your DH it continues. He won't be able to play if this storm system goes out to the coast. :guilty:

oh I'm would be glad I wasn't there. I hate when my husband gets grumpy.

I told my husband about this yesterday when I first read it. He sends his deepest sympathies to your husband.

Last year after surviving 6 horrible rounds of chemo, I went to visit my parents to take a break from it. I was using a wheelchair. I was able to walk short distances but long outings were a bit much, hence the chair. Anyway, we boarded our return flight in Seattle and the flight attendant took my wheelchair to be stowed. It was not at our connection in Chicago. It never made it on the plane. It's never been seen since. Our flight had been delayed so much that we missed our connection home and so American (the original airline that lost the chair) booked us on a United flight home.

Here's the kicker: When baggage is lost it becomes the responsibility of the final carrier in our case United. Even though American lost the chair on an American flight, we had to deal with United who didn't have a clue! This guy even told me to take one of the airport wheelchairs! BTW they don't fold up like a normal one so I couldn't even if I would have agreed to it.

It took 7 days of screaming at "customer service" people and getting contstant promises of having an answer tomorrow for me to blow my stack. I went to the American counter at the airport and demanded to speak with the highest ranking person there. I don't know what this person's title was but while I sat in her office she A) called my medical equipment company and bought a brand new chair for me. They were at my house with it within an hour after I got home. B) called United and ripped them a new one and told them they'd be reimbursing them for the chair and C) refunded the cost of my flight (in a check!!) and gave me a voucher for 2 round trip tickets anywhere! Guess where we're going with it? :earsboy: :earsgirl:
