DH is overpacking!

This is cracking me up. We are packing for our trip to Paris. We are a family of 5. Usually the adults each have a large suitcase and each child has a carry on size. EVERY SINGLE TIME we travel, DH says "Why do you pack so much? Why do we need all of that?"

Well this trip we have an apartment with a washer and dryer, so I figured we could bring fewer clothes and each of us only pack a carry on bag. DH can't believe it. He wants to bring his water pik and his electric hair clippers and who knows what else. HE is the one who wants to bring too much stuff!!!

Don't forget, those personal appliances are useless without a 3 prong adapter for the European outlets.

DH, DD1 and I went to FL for two weeks. I proclaimed that this would be "less luggage trip" due to the new airline weight guidelines, and having to lug the stroller, carseat, etc... Told DH this numerous times....until a night or two before, when he packed...."Why do I get the little suitcase?" Oy! Try fitting all that "stuff" into a midsize car with three different destinations in three parts of FL! Next trip, we are going 10 days, and I will attempt to scale down the luggage even more. You're exactly right, Hillbeans...I found out that he was planning to take all this electical stuff because he asked me "Have you already packed the converter set?" (I hadn't, because the apartment has a blow dryer already.)
