Not only is he cute, he is an easy going baby too. The girls were so easy - only cried when hungry- I hope he follows suit.

Thanks! My daughter came up with it. She doesn't do that kind of play with the neighbor friend who is over nearly every day. It was nice for her to play "dress up"."

Diva Snowwoman- that sounds adorable (I am quite girlie)!

The girls love the rides - thank goodness- it is a way for them to spend time with their dad alone - while I shop and take pictures...

So after riding some of our favorites, we stopped by Starring Rolls Cafe for the girls to share a Strawberry Shortcake Parfait, while I had a fruit tart.

Dh and the girls wanted to go back to TOT...I decided to shop.

At the end of

I was so impressed with the selection in this store. It had merchandise I hadn't seen elsewhere! The store is located at Hollywood and Sunset.

How do you decide which colors?

I made it out without a purchase. I do have that number just in case though...I kept eyeing up the scaves, but I couldn't make a decision on which to get...

I have to say the zip up hoodie I bought at Tren D in September I wear all the time....I just love it....but now I have my eye on a few things there too!!

great update! I enjoy that store too!! It kind of reminds me of the boutique store at DTD (by the team mickey store, used to be summer sands). It has girly type things in there that they don't have at all the other gift shops!

I was eyeing those scarves too - especially the green with Mickey heads on it - the ultimate hidden Mickey scarf - but not so hidden I guess. Did they have that one in pink or red? Most of my scarves are in that "sunset" color family because they go with pretty much everything.
Oh, and I definitely need some Grumpy PJs
I wonder if that amount/deal changes in higher crowd seasons.

Don't you love when you bring something home from Disney and you actually use/ wear it all the time?! I think that's why I am so selective.

I looked at those scarves in every store. I couldn't decide, and I thought it would be ridiculous to buy three of them. If I ever decide, I will just call and order. haha They did have a hot pink one in the Contemporary's gift shop. (Why on earth I remember that...?!)

I am getting good about controlling my purchases (DH might laugh when he reads that, but seriously, I am not as frivolous.) Of course, I am totally jonesing for the D&B 55th anniversary $270 bag. I really should pick out a $12.95 scarf.

I met up with dh and the girls. We headed to Toy Story to use FP. We went to get another set , but had to wait three minutes for the machine to let us. While we were standing there, I guess we looked perplexed. A very nice lady gave us FP that were for that time.

We thanked her, got our fast passes, and went inside.

We used one set and had these two.

Once inside, we decided that we didn't want to use the magic she gave us...we were already lucky enough to have two sets. We figured we probably wouldn't be in the park until the new fastpasses were ready.

(So jumping ahead...we stood at the entrance waiting for the perfect family.) I wanted a family of four with a little boy who would be tickled over Toy Story FPs. So, imagine me standing there for a good fifteen- twenty minutes waiting for that family. HAHA. Families of three, five, etc... Finally a family entered with two little boys. I gave them to the mom, and when she walked away she told the little boy. BINGO - right family.)

Okay, so after Toy Story 2X, we headed to Magic of Disney Animation. We hadn't done this before and I was really excited to go!

I loved the film, but more than that, I loved the knick knacks all around...I couldn't get enough. Too much to look at and a film that goes 2X the speed it should... Afterward we waited for the drawing class and spotted...

First, we drew Donald...my poor Emma was in tears by the end because of her drawing. (Just ten minutes before, her sister was in tears about how poorly she does on TSM!) I was tickled with mine--I am NOT artisitic...dh and Hannah are. Someone commented behind dh (either for Donald or Dale)- maybe he is an artist. hehe... We had so much fun, and Emma needed to try again, that we did the drawing class twice! Donald first, Dale second.

After drawing, I wanted pics with Lotso!
This area was so cool. It was set up like Sunnyside!!

Poor dh hadn't seen the film yet, so I had to give him a quick recap while we were in Sunnyside. (There was one family in front of us...so we waited back in the Daycare)

After Lotso, we did the "what character are you like?" My daughters really enjoyed this for some reason--I will never understand my kids.

Believe it or not, it was nearing lunch time. (I think we get a lot done in the morning!)

Lotso looks so cute that before I saw the movie I wondered why everyone was less than kind to him...now that I've seen the movie, I totally get it!!!

Your nephew is darling! I am hoping Lotso is still there this summer, we missed him last trip. We discovered the animation drawing studio 2 trips ago, and now it is a must do! So much fun - even if you are not artistic!

Nice job in the animation class, I think the whole familys creations came out great .

I can't help that imagine that all of the kids who got their pictures taken with Lotso before Toy Story 3 came out, felt very betrayed when they learnt that the big cuddly bear was the bad guy .

Okay, everybody SSSHHHHH! I haven't seen the new Toy Story movie yet - I have no idea who Losto even is... sounds like it needs to be our next rent - maybe this weekend.

What an incredibly productive morning you guys had at DHS! I had no such luck there. I'm totally impressed with your artwork! Tell DD that my Donald would probably make me cry too...
