DH has declared our "home resort"!

We have just returned from our 12 day stay divided between the VWL and BCV. The first week, DD (26) and DD (12) stayed at the VWL. It was the first trip to WDW for DD (26). She absolutely loved the themeing of VWL.

The second week DH arrived for his first stay at BCV. Now please understand that DH doesn't even care for WDW at all and purchased me the share at VWL for our 25th Anniversary. He has stayed there and said it was just OK.

After a few days at the BCV, we went over to the VWL to buy a few things at the Mercantile. As we walked into the Lodge, he said, "Now I feel at home!" I was blown away!!! He started to talk about his favorite places in the Villas to go and read "quietly" and how much he liked Sturdy Branches. He went on to say how he really preferred the themeing of the VWL.

I guess that DH goes on vacation, it will have to be VWL!!!! IU guess that everyone really has their own preferences when it comes to DVC!

We do get attached. My children are now spoiled by DVC. It will be hard for htem to stay anywhere else and appreciate it. They already compare when they go on band trips with the school.

We stayed at VWL but everyone but me prefers OKW. I actually like a variety. I did not like BCV so much. I felt lost inside. The hallways seemed so long. We where in the studio and the DVC desk lady in the villas (before it was sold out) could not even tell me where the laundry room was. Maybe I will try it again someday.

I certainly understand, VWL/WL are extensively themed and are quite lovely. You should see it at Christmas

For Christmas/New Year's, VWL cannot be beat. However, I have taken a liking to HHI and VB. Even though VWL is my "home", I love the serenity of HH and the feel of VB.
