DH had the stomach flu, now DS, guess who is next?

DH was sick on Sunday, now today, Tuesday, DS is sick. Guess who is next? I DON'T WANNA GET SICK!

In my personal experience, all being coughed on, puked on, breathed on by all the other members of my family - by the time I got around to catching the bug, I would get knocked down so bad......

Do you have any Airborne you can start to take? Anything to counteract the germies that are preparing to invade you?

When it comes to stomach viruses, the best thing you can do is scrub up (up to your elbows) every time you deal with your son. Lysol EVERYTHING he uses that is shared by you. If he vomits in the bathroom, you must scrub the bathrooom surfaces after each time and then scrub yourself Do not touch your eyes, mouth, nose during this time. Your hands will be raw but this will stop it.

There is hope. A couple of years ago, the week before we were supposed to go to Disneyland, DD#1 threw up once; a day or so later, DH was a little sicker; a day or so later, DD#2 was a little sicker; the day before we left, DS was so sick he could not go to school. So then it was my turn - I could just see myself being sick all the way to California. But luck was with me...not even a queasy moment.

last time dh was sick, then dd, by the time it hit me it lasted only 1 day....once dh got sick, I slept on the couch....... go get some airbourne......

My youngest daughter had a stomach bug 3 weeks ago. I bleached everything. The bathroom, her sheets, towels, etc. I washed my hands every time I touched her or cleaned up after her, and luckily no one else caught it.

You never know, you might never catch it. I've been exposed to so much that I rarely get sick anymore. *knocking on wood, of course!* Sometimes I wish I would get sick, just so I could have a day off!

Maybe it is time to take a little vacation and get out of the house. It could be consided sick leave since you are leaving sick people...

LOL, well we thought DH had food poisining so we didn't do anything special about him, just stayed away from him. I had been sharing a water bottle with him just hours before he got sick.

DS was throwing up al night and DH and I did the best we could, I have been washing my hands like mad and keeping Purelle close to me, but again, we have been sharing drinks just hours before. I don't think there is any hope for me.

BTW- I can't take Airborne, makes me sick, but I do the Zinc stuff. But that doesn't work on the stomach flu, just colds and influenza, right?

I've had it since Sunday night and it isn't pretty. Hopefully this will be the last time I get it this year since I already had it in January for a couple of days.
