I wish we would have gone to Disneyworld instead. Talk about music to my ears!!!!
We were in Tampa for 3 days over spring break. I was hoping to go to WDW for 1 day, but DH said he wanted a break from Disneyworld, so we decided to go to Busch Gardens instead. The kids and I took it well. (considering we were only 1 hour away from WDW and we live 23 hours away--so close, sigh). I didn't compare it negatively to WDW. I commented on how the flowers were pretty, it was clean, the food was good, etc.
We rode the train past the animals, which was considerably different from the safari in WDW. As the woman announcing on the train was pointing our animals on your left, on your right, etc., DH whispered, "And on your left is where we keep all our supplies and garbage in plain sight." You could see the garbage and cases of bottled water. I didn't say anything. And later after we left the park came those magic words, "We should have gone to Disneyworld."
AND, we are now going to Disneyworld for our 25th wedding anniversary at the end of June.
Doesn't get much better than that, does it.
