My husband took over the task of using Priceline for our car rental this October. We were needing 10 days. I have used PL several times in the past and have always been pleased. This was dh first time. I told him to bid on a minivan for our dates, but not to go over $20.00 a day. I've gotten that rate during peak times. Well, I come home and he says "I wasn't able to get a minivan, but I got a full size for the same price". I could have screamed, but knowing he meant well I just said "great honey". I hate knowing we are paying more than we need to. Next time I will leave the bidding to me.
