I'm starting to look into airfare for our DCL cruise in Jan leaving out of LA. One of the flights I'm interested in goes through DFW with a 45 minute layover. Assuming the flight leaves on schedule, is 45 minutes enough time to change planes at DFW? The flight is on American Airlines. Thank You!

I wouldn't count on it being enough time. Lots of times our flight arrives on time, only to be sitting on the tarmac waiting for our gate to open. And the other big problem is that American is based at DFW and can fly out of terminal A,C &D or B if you have an American Eagle flight. But the good news is there are many flights from DFW to LAX and surrounding airports so if you miss your flight there are lots more!

Thank you! Right now our only other option is to fly Frontier that has a layover in Denver. I'm not thrilled with the idea of a loyover in Denver in January.
