Ok so for my intimate we are only gettting a 3 hour photography package. We are getting married at SBP and we dont want to see eachother before the wedding so my question is, Where are some locations that I should absolutly get my pictures at. My photographer is arriving an hour early to get getting ready photos and of me and my family and Tom and his family so that probably leaves us with about an hour of photography for the both of us. Since we will be at SBP where are some locations that we just MUST get our pictures at? If it is at a differant location keep in mind that it will eat up time, which I dont mind going anywhere else but I want to get as many of the must have pictures as possible. so let me know the BEST places to go to make my photos worth it.

ok i hope that makes sense, I usually just ramble

We got married at the YC Gazebo, then had our photographer walk us around the lagoon thingy there and the limo picked us up at Boardwalk to take us to our luncheon. I imagine you could do the same thing in reverse: start at Boardwalk and walk around to the Yacht Club. There's a very pretty beach in front of Yacht & Beach Club, along with a pier and some other flowery areas that make for some pretty pictures.

I know a lot of brides have gone to the Grand Floridian or Polynesian to get additional shots, and it *is* beautiful out there, but my planner said that the GF is about twenty minutes away and would eat into our photography time, like you said.

I don't know how you're working your after-ceremony "reception", but in our case we had half of our wedding party picked up by the limo in front of the Yacht Club, then had him swing around to the Boardwalk after he dropped them off at the DTD restaurant we had picked up. Does that make sense?

HTH!

I agree with Christina. The Yacht and Beach Club are beautiful! My ceremony will be at the WP but I specifically requested that my photographer come to our room early so we can take our shots at the Beach Club. They have the large shipwreck and there are alot of "marina-themed" shots that you can take if you love the beach.

The Boardwalk is also classic!!! I think that whole area is perfect for photos, you'll see!:thumbsup2

I think the boardwalk makes for great pictures. We had ours taken there during our reception. The best part was there wasn't many people on the BW so the pictures came out great. I would suggest taking a look at the photo links Disney brides have posted to get an idea of where you like. Another great photo would be on the beach at the beach club with the boardwalk in the background.

We took photos at our resort, seperately, before the wedding. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge and got some great photos there around the resort. I got more before the wedding than DH because he was the first to head off in the Limo. I also took photos beforehand as we walked up to SBP. Wilderness Lodge has great scenery for photos, as does Port Orleans. For after photos I recommend the Grand Floridian. They have great grounds....

we also walked from the boardwalk over to the swan & dolphin & got some great pics.....

I also highly recommend to EVERYONE to rent a boat & trolly around the water...i got some great pics there..here are some examples

We had our wedding at the YC gazebo and had various photos done around the boardwalk area but my faves are the ones we did on the beach in front of the YC!
