DFTW and Dining Plan

Hey there:

Hoping you all can help - we are fans of the Dining Plan, but are being informed that since we are not booking a magic your way package, we are unable to add it and still keep our rooms in our room block with our discounts.

Since we are annual pass holders, is there a way around this, were any of you able to get the dining plan, we want it as well as several of our guests.

No, there is no way around it if you book through your room block. The rooms are booked through the event group and they are a completely separate system from the Walt Disney travel company (through which packages, including ticketless packages for AP holders) are booked.

The only way you can do the dining plan is to book outside your block and have the reservations added manually to count toward your nights.

We used the TIW card for our wedding week also and it was great. We did a dinner in 'Ohana with 16 people and they gave us the discount for everyone. We also did a rehearsal breakfast at Cape May Cafe for 22 people and they gave us the discount for everyone also. I think the total amount is supposed to be for only 10 people but they just gave it to us.

Not sure if your experience will be the same. Even if it is not - it is still a great deal.
