DF rained on my floral plans! LOL

So, I had my phone appointment with Rosie last night and we had her on speaker phone because DF wanted to listen in on the plans. I told him everything I was planning on discussing with her.

So, my bouquet is going to be 36 white roses, 10 blue mickey/regular crystals, wrapped stems in blue.

When it came time to discuss his boutonniere, I said a single white rose and I wanted a single blue crystal and wrapped stem to match mine (since the wedding party won't have any crystals) and he vetoed the crystal!

Now, I know it's HIS because he's wearing it, but I guess I was just trying to have ours kind of match so now I feel like it's unbalanced and my OCD is kicking in big time. LOL!! I showed him a picture of lurkyloo's DH's boutonniere with the single hidden Mickey and he was still like no.

I guess in the end, who cares? But, it kinda bothered me a little that I've been going through all the research and planning stuff on my own, and he likes to hear about it but I feel like all he does is yes or no things. I'm glad he's interested but, I dunno..

Okay, I'm done whining. Any advice?

He just sounds like a regular guy. At least he cares enough to listen to your thoughts and plans!
The crystal on the flower won't really make that much difference (and I know that's not really the point you are upset about). I give your DF credit for even being in on the phonecall and caring enough to say something.

You're definitely right. I know it really doesn't matter in the end - nobody is ever going to remember the boutinnieres! But, I was just feeling kinda frustrated I guess. I feel very overwhelmed right now because we're less than 4 months and all the stuff is like crazy!!

DH really didn't care what I had for him..but in the end..he liked it!

My husbands boutonniere has the hidden mickeys and I honestly don't think that he is going to even notice it. I was stealthy and made it brown.

However I agree that it is just one of those things just to glaze over. Not important in the big picture.

Soooo true!!! And that IS the next thing we disagree on - LOL!!! And personally, I'd rather have chocolate cake than a mickey in his bout LOL!!!!

MEN! I went to the planning session myself and got my DF a pink rose with 3 mickey crystals. I told him and he said I am not wearing a pink rose but then I said if you don't then you aren't going to be wearing anything and I whined a little bit which always works and then he finally gave in

That's funny....my DH wanted the hidden mickey (we used pearls on the handles) Believe me, no one will notice and it won't be unbalanced, its just a fun little thing (that Disney can charge extra for )
