Dexter TV Show - Excellent

Hi

If anyone is wanting a new TV show to watch Dexter is great. My dh has been downloading it from the US. I could not wait till Jan when it comes out over here. Its about a seriel killer who works for forensics. He finds killers who have been let off and kills them himself to help with his fix. Thats the basic plot.

I read a book with that as a plot some years ago - I thought then it would make an excellent TV programme so I will definitely look out for this...

Michael C. Hall, who plays Dexter, has been nominated for the Screen Actors Guild Award and the Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Drama.

Anyone know when the series starts and on what channel?

The series was presented in the United States on Showtime in the Fall 2006. It is currently not being rebroadcast, and I'm not aware that it has been picked up for broadcast in the UK yet. The second season will start in early October 2007, so plan on the first season of Dexter being rebroadcast on Showtime over the Summer (again, in the US). The DVD might also be available by then, but I'm not sure if there will be a PAL version.

I saw it advertised the other day on TV. I cant remember whether it was Sky one, E4, C4. It said coming soon.

Apparently, Dexter has been picked up in the UK by FX on satellite "coming soon".
