Devil Dogs or Twinkies???

I'm admitting it right now- I've never had a Twinkie. There's no chocolate so what's the purpose?? I'm a Devil Dog girl all the way. How about you??

What pray tell is a Devil Dog? Is it related to those YooHoo/Yodells (something along those lines) chocolate snack cake things my DH practically drools on when they hop out of the box his parents send him periodically from NH? He grabs the box with glee, giggles and runs to hide and lock himself somewhere where no one can get them. He always has to come out because in his haste he forgets the milk

Personally, I like Twinkies and my BFF uses them to make strawberry shortcake. Unwrap Twinkie, cover with strawberrys and more whipped cream, voila!

They are related to those things that DH goes gaga over! I can't wait to go home and tell him I saw Yodells and Devil Dogs today......(evil laugh)

BTW - the kids and I being from the West Coast just don't get it, we prefer our Twinkies and Ding Dongs

Choc-c-diles apparently make the occassional appearance on the west coast in CA. DH bought me a box for Valentine's Day from a guy on Ebay once! They are the best snack food ever.

BTW...I can't do Devil Dog's. They are SO dry. It takes a half gallon of milk to wash them down.

Devil Dogs look like Suzy Q's, my favorite snack when I was a kid.

Chocodiles are hard to find, too bad, they cover my twinkie and chocolate bases in one sinful little treat!

Little Debbie Swiss Cake Rolls are my personal favorite.

I need a life and more mature snack habits! I do have to say, our group of good family friends recently "split up". The guys went camping, the gals stayed home and we got together one night and had our girl food. Pizza, kool aid, cheetoh's and boxes of twinkies, cupcakes, and ho ho's. OMG what a night! And no guys to share those boxes of Hostess Heaven with. She did forget the pies which was a cryin shame.
