Developer points and Magical Express

I called member services to give flight info for our upcoming trip in 3 weeks and was told I needed to call 6 weeks in advance since I was using developer points to get the yellow tags. I waited to call because our flight times had already changed a couple of times and I wanted to make sure I had the right flight numbers. Has this happen to anybody else using developer points? I am using a combo of developer points and regular points. I know I can go to the welcome center, but I just feel better with the tags already on the luggage.

Do you have the points reservation number? If so, you should be able to use the Members Website and input your own information.

Once you log in, click on the Vacation Planning link on the tool bar near the top of the page. You will see a link for Magical Express.

I used the Members' Website for ME quite successfully for our last trip. I don't see why it wouldn't work for you as long as you have DVC reservation number.

I like making our ME arrangements online because I get a confirmation email with the details. Presumably, MS has jotted those down verbatim.

What are developer points?
