I'm sure many of you may think I'm being silly but I feel as though I am in mourning. Not to mention that the decision to cancel came on the anniversary of my mom's passing. By no means am I suggesting that these two events are in any way the same. But for whatever reason I can't help but feel a true loss. I can't stop crying. I unfortunately had to make the decision to cancel my contract because of a turn of events in my husbands work. He of course is not a Disney Lover like I am so he thought nothing of canceling.
I have been dreaming of being an owner for well over 15 years and I was so proud of myself because i made the purchase totally on my own. I realize of course that because I financed it, it wasn't the ideal situation, but I felt if I worked really hard at it, that I could pay it off in as little as 1 to 2 years.
Well, I first want to thank all of the people here at DisBoards who help put a smile on my face every day by talking about one of my favorite things in the world, DISNEY and for being so genuinely helpful.
The only comfort I feel at this point is that this is the closest I have ever come to being a DVC member and I am confident that I will be one in the near future.
Thanks for letting me share.
