Deux Petits Cochons ~ 5 days DxDP ~ 10-22~10/27 - Everything but the snacks! (11/11)

Sunday night we had made res at the Plaza restaurant, but were having so much fun at MK, we missed the res, and because it was MNSSHP, they closed early (6pm) so we missed it... we decided to just get a snack, then try for something else later.... we got a funnel cake (on the dxdp) and it was yummy! MMMM! (very messy too! with the powdered sugar!)

We went on some more rides, and then scoped out Pecos Bill... We ordered a burger and pulled pork sandwich, fries and pudding and carrot cake (which we didn't eat, but brought back to the room for later, go figure) and some fountain drinks... it was okay, but I don't think Jon took one bite of his pulled pork... it wasn't too appetizing. I didn't try it, cuz I had a hard enough time trying to eat my stuff. I did make some super fries... with cheese sauce, tomatoes, and lettuce. yum! Jon loved that there was cheese sauce for his fries.

We stayed for MNSSHP this night, and enjoyed the parade (without getting drenched, like the other night we were there for the party); had our faces painted, and went on some rides... it was great... before we left we got some snacks from Main Street Confectionary:
(two white chocolate mickey pretzels with sprinkles; two toffee bars (yummy); two m&m covered peanut butter cups, and a white chocolate cocoanut mountain) we had to have something to take home to the family!

Ohana... the day we were leaving....
We got up bright and early, and went to the Poly for breakfast. Let me tell you that this is the FIRST time we waited in line for what seemed like forever to check in, and get our buzzer. This place was rocking...

We were seated, and brought bread and a plate of fruit:

Then we were brought some mickey waffles, and a skillet of eggs, bacon, sausage, and potatoes.

Our server filled our drinks with the juice blend, and I asked for coffee, if they might have some Kona blend, she said they didn't but brought me a cup and said I'd like it... well, she was wrong... bleck! tasted very burnt and gross. Then she came back, when we were not even finished with our food on our plates, and brought this:

and our check... check this out... it was the ONE AND ONLY time I saw this on our trip... made me a little taken aback... our server was just a little on the "pushy" side, and this just did it for me. (can you see the "optional" crossed out with a few lines? Nice huh?)

I guess it was good that this was our last table service meal, but not so good that we felt rushed and pushed out of the place... we didn't even get to see Lilo when we were at our table... we had to wait with her "handler" to get a picture. how rude.

We must have had the same server at Ohana. I also noticed the "optional" crossed off my reciept, and it irked me enough that I left a little less then I was going to.

We had a really poor server at Kona Cafe in April who did the same thing. Thanks for posting your reviews - I really enjoyed them. It was nice to see Jon make an appearance int eh pics even if it was just at the start.

Me too... but I didn't want to say anything. Awful presumputous of her to cross the thing out.... I was obviously bothered by it so much so that I took a picture of the receipt!

I did get him in some other pictures, but not too many... He had a great time! Must be only at the Poly that the servers are so blaitant. Oh well.

It was not tacky for you to order your own cake, it looked yummy and lovely and I am glad the two of you enjoyed your trip. Thank you for taking the time to do reviews.
