Gotta love some early emh at Magic Kingdom! It is my absolute favorite time to be there and it is amazing how much you can get done! And I have to laugh at stopping for a sweet snack for a princess turned grumpy. I do the same thing for mine! A little chocolate and we're good to go again!

I love the Tiki Birds and am so happy it's the original show again!

And we also recently discovered the nighttime experience on the Jungle Cruise.
Definitely worth a visit!

Hey everyone! The semester ends next Monday so I will be able to spend more time on the TR between working two jobs this summer! Gotta get that Disney spending money I am a little bummed because I feel like we have a ton of lurkers out there so if you are lurking please comment!

We just got our Photopass CD so here is one of the Photopass from this day

It must have been taken earlier because my hair doesn't look that heat damaged

So after our snacks and a little bit of a rest we headed out of the park. We were headed to our Brunch ADR at

Now I took a literal ton of photos at the Contemporary because we were supposed to be staying here in October...Well unfortunately we aren't... We are staying at some place called... THE GRAND FLORIDIAN Yes I am fullfilling my dreams of vacationing with the Tanners! I will seriously re-enact every moment from that episode! I am just a bit excited but anyway back to our brunch..

We got there a bit early so we just sat and people watched.

And took pictures..

There were tons of kids in the waiting area and we got a kick out of watching them. One little kid would go up to different kids and growl at them It was so weird but so entertaining! We also spotted a mother who had her son on a leash while she texted.. Yeah maybe if she hadn't been texting she wouldn't have need a leash for her kid.. We also played the game "Who is actually staying here and who is just here for breakfast?" It's a lot of fun and we tend to do this at the Delux resorts we eat at Try it next time! It's a new twist on people watching!

It was finally time for us to be seated! We hadn't eaten here in forever and I was looking forward to seeing all of the characters in their chef outfits!

But first some buffet line pics

I am not sure if I mentioned it but this trip we were celebrating me being 21! Chef Mickey's gave me a special place mate and you can bet that every birthday it will be brought out and I will eat every meal on it

We grabbed some food and ate while waiting for the characters to come around. We enjoyed the food especially the cheesey potatoes! Unfortunately when the characters came around they weren't too interactive and just had the "hi,smile,picture,move on" air about them.

Once we were done with the characters we sat waiting for our bill. Well it took quite a while but while we were waiting they brought me out a special treat!

If you are looking for a good cupcake go to Chef Mickey's! I got a lot of free desserts this trip and this was the best cupcake!

Still waiting for our bill we had the Goofmeister stop by our table

and Donald stopped by again because he knows I just can't get enough time with him!

Finally our bill came. Overall it was a good lunch but we probably won't be rushing there again any time soon. Now that I am older I sort of resent the character meals and how little time they spend with me. Just because I am an adult doesn't mean I don't want a little character lovin! The food was good though but we never get our moneys worth out of buffets

We gathered up our stuff and headed out

We got on the monorail and headed over to the Poly! We needed to head to ESPN to get our race packets. If you remember my mom got bronchitis before our race so she wouldn't be able to compete

Of course a trip to the Poly isn't complete without a look in Boutiki!

I (of course) did some shopping!

I bought both of those dresses and one of them show up a little later this day

We headed outside to wait for a bus to ESPN. We chatted with a nice CM who was directing people and we talked about working out and running and his weight loss plan. It was a nice chat and before we knew it we were on our way to ESPN!

On our way to the Expo site we saw that they had Cinderella's Carriage out so of course I had to get a pic!

Then it was time to head inside!

It was packed in there! There were tons of different booths and different giveaways! It was like a workoutaholics dream!

I really wanted this t shirt but unfortunately they didn't sell one small enough

Now you are all aware that I am a princess and I believe this would be the perfect glass slipper for me!

I just loved all of the Princess running merchandise!

I ended up buying a "Train like a beast" tank top from one of the stands and these

It was fun exploring the expo and we walked away with a lot of free stuff! It also made me super excited for my run in September! Yep I am participating in the Tower of Terror 10 mile!!!! I have already begun training and honestly can not wait!

I feel like Chef Mickey's is always packed so that may add to the rush We do like Cape May better and have always had fun there but wanted to try something different this time. Now we know Cape May is the only choice not only for the characters but the food too

I am sure Chef Mickey's is a lot of fun for the little ones! See I enjoy both of the other buffets you mentioned more than Chef Mickey's I love the jungle juice at TH and the puffed french toast at CP

Okay I'll come out of lurkdom....although I have commented once or twice before

I love that greenish blue dress you're wearing (not the ones you tried on at Boutiki - although those were cute too!) Where on earth do you go shopping? You have good taste my dear.

I feel your pain on the characters not giving much attention once you're an adult. Dude, we are kids too you know!

You might bump into my sister (aka Bubba) if you're running in the Tower of Terror run. She'll be there running with you!
