Hey, that was the next informercial. Seriously, this stuff that claims it can clean out all the "paste the lines your colons walls"

I've seen it!
Unbelievable what people will buy.

Penn & Teller did a segment on the whole "colon cleansing" scam. It's out on Youtube or Google Video if you look for it (search "Penn teller detoxing" and note that contains the usual P&T language). It's pretty darn funny!

No, they don't work. How on Earth could they?

I'm concerned that people even bothered doing tests. Did they think there was some chance that it might work? Some reason to test it?

But somewhere, someone (maybe someone on the DIS) will tell you that they got sick and stuck stickers on their feet and then they were all better...and someone else will say, "Oh. I guess I should stick stickers on my feet, too," and shell out the money.
