Can anyone tell me if they had Easter Dinner @ Olivia's. Is is just a special menu or do they do something for the kids? We will be staying at OKW, but if it is just a special menu then we might try Ohanas. Love to hear opinions about Olivia's & Ohanas.

I haven't eaten at Olivia's yet. I am going to try them next week.
But I love going to O'hanas. This restaurant is a family favorite.

We are also going to be down in the World on Easter, and I have made PS's for Boma at AKL for Easter Dinner. This restaurant is my son's favorite and mine too. Yum!

Have a fun trip!

We are actually having Easter Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I don't think that it is a special Easter Dinner, just the regular buffet. I'm wondering if it will still be Cinderella's Galla Feast. We couldn't get reservations for Chef Mickeys for Easter dinner when we called. There did seem to be openings at Olivia's though. We were told that there was a buffet with lamb being served. I'm sure they would tell you more if you call for priority seating. Good luck! :)

Except for some Easter brunches (Chef' Mickey's, and often Park Fare and Cape May), the restaurants at WDW generally serve the same thing on Easter Sunday as any other day of the week. Some in the past have dressed it up a little with special "Easter" menus but those are simply the regular meals made to look special on the menu. In other words, your best bet for Easter dinner is simply choose your favorite place and go not expecting anything out the ordinary

It appears that Olivias just added lamb to the menu and that is it for Easter. Since we don't like lamb and no other restaurant is having ham, we decided to try Ohanas for the first time, unless we are convinced to go to Bomas. I would love to hear comments about both places.

Thank you everyone for your comments.

Boma's is in AKL. It's a buffet and the restaurant itself is pretty noisy.
The food however is plentiful and in great variety. The flavors on a lot of it are a little different then what you are used to, since its an African buffet.

My son loves the variety of sausages they offer and they have excellent prime rib.

And as everyone mentions the desserts are awesome.

They have a full selection of salads, soups, vegatables, and meats to choose from. So if you don't like one thing, don't eat it, just try something else.

There is a kids buffet too, which offers, chicken fingers, mac and cheese, etc. for the little ones, who aren't adventurous.

Ohana's is my family's other favorite. It's in the Polynesian. It's another all you can eat spot, but its served family style. you start off with a banana flavored bread and they bring out a tray with rice, spring rolls, and salad on it. They also bring out sauces, there are three, one is peanut, another is mango, and I can't remember the third. (Guess which two I use. ;) )

The main meal is grilled meats. Steak, Chicken, Turkey and Shrimp. Which they bring by on large skewers and put on your plate.

In between the eating, they have the kids come out an do various activities. Hola Hoops and coconut races.

Dessert that comes with the meal is Pineapple with a Carmel dipping sauce.

Both restaurants are very good. You can't go wrong with either. Boma's is also good if you want to check out the Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's a beautiful resort.

Have a good trip!!

I think we are going to try Ohanas. I think the kids will really enjoy the atmosphere (games).

Thanks,

Ig you choose 'ohana (an excellent choice, BTW 0although I love Boma too), check out the time for the Electric Water Pagent. We usually try to eat in time to get out to the Poly beach around 9 PM, grab a lounge chair, and watch the parade - brief, but a wonderful Disney free-bee!
