Details on Captain Gala Dinner/Grand Cayman Aquaboat?

Can anyone tell me if the Captains Gala Dinner is something you can sign up for, or how it works? I'm finding out there is so much more going on during a 7 night cruise than the 4 night... Also, has anyone been on the aquaboat/snorkeling excursion at Grand Cayman? DH and I are trying to decide btw that one and the Nautlius semi-sub/snorkeling....

Stephanie, I just checked the Navigators on www.castawayclub.com and the Captains Gala Dinner is the semi-formal night that takes place on the second day at sea. Everyone takes part.

I can't answer your question about snorkling on Grand Cayman. I've never been there, yet. I will be in April!! I am so excited about it!

Anyway, whenever I have a question about a particular excursion, I go to the trip reports and check out the ones that apply to my itinerary (sic?). That has helped alot!!!
