I put both ships because I'll be on both, eventually. First up is a 4 night Destiny. I booked length of cruise pass for my husband and myself but might cancel and possibly get a one day pass during the cruise or maybe just not at all.

I booked it because it sounds like there aren't the type of places that we normally hangout on the new ships. I spend a lot of time deck 4 and also just outside of the Cove Cafe on the Wonder/Magic. Is there anything peaceful/shaded like that on the new ships?

My husband probably won't get off the ship at Lookout, so I'm thinking he might like having access to it that day. He enjoys spa treatments so maybe he should just do spa stuff? On such a short cruise on such an immersive ship, I'm questioning if we'd actually use the rainforest room enough to pay for it.

Basically, same question for the Treasure for the next year. That will be a 7 night with only 3 port days, so maybe it's more useful then?

No

My issue with the Rainforest Room on the Triton Class ships is they charge significantly more (maybe 50%) for it on the Triton Ships than they do on the Dream Class ships. We did a 4 night on the Dream and did enjoy it - I doubt I would purchase it for a 3 night - especially on a ship as interactive and immersive as a Triton Class Ship.

Maybe.... It felt more crowded to us on the sea days, but still not "that" crowded. I wonder if RR is more crowded on the Triton ships though due to the enhanced outdoor venue, and also the lack of good venues for adults on those ships.

I’ve never bought a Rainforest Pass, but was on the Treasure recently. The adult pool area is on the top deck with the AquaMouse. It was fairly empty when I went up about 10am on a Sea Day; however, a couple of hours later people were complaining that there wasn’t any seating. While I didn’t go all the way around the deck, I don’t remember seeing any shade. I chose to sit in a lounger where I could see the funnel vision screen and happened to be under part of the AquaMouse. Periodically, I would get wet from water from the ride—someone explained it was blowing from where the ride was open. They eventually closed the ride for high winds, so I didn’t move. The ride shaded my chair, but there were plenty of seats in full sun. If you don’t plan on getting up early on a Sea Day to get a chair, maybe the pass would be worth it.
