DestiNations Discovered Tour questions

I read that at the end of your tour, they pass out VIP passes to watch Illuminations in the special viewing area near Italy for the evening of your tour. Do you know if they still do this? I don't see it listed in any recent reviews or descriptions of tour.

We took the tour on 9/4/2017, and we were told that our names were on a list for the VIP section near Italy. My daughter and I were the only ones from our tour to take advantage of this, and there were only a handful of people in the section. It was a wonderful view!

They probably don't advertise that in the tour description in case the area is unavailable for the night for some reason.

It is unadvertised because it's not always provided. It's up to the individual tour guide to offer it to his/her tour as a bonus, not "part of" the tour. If that makes sense.

Honestly, the more the word spreads of it being part people's tour, it will be one of those things that will probably be dropped from being offered as a bonus. It's one of those things that will start being asked for. That will be a sure fire way to have it eliminated.

I had purposely not read any reviews of the tour because I wanted to experience it all without any preconceived notions. We had a great time on the tour, and loved our tour guide. I had no idea about the VIP IllumiNations viewing. Since it's our favorite, we were beyond delighted. I'll keep that part quiet, though.
