I'm just posting to bump the thread. If anyone goes from these boards, if it's not too much trouble, any chance you can post pics of upcoming ride art, Villains Land, and DVC Lakeshore Lodge/future announcements?

It'll probably end up here and/or in the main news thread via reporters who are there.

Yeah, all the Disney news people/influencers on the media list will be there so no need to worry about missing anything! Sometimes Disney even live streams.
Anyway, best not to expect anything major since this isn't the big expo

Got my badge in the mail today. Unless they screwed mine up, it's literally just the badge with a holepunch in it, no lanyard or anything else in the envelope. Maybe Disney didn't have enough money for lanyards?

Ah, last year for D23 Expo, I thought we had to buy our welcome gifts with the registration. The cap, t-shirt, and such... and I think a lanyard was part of that. I don't recall them doing that for this event. But yeah, maybe it'll be there at the entrance. Who knows... a minor thing.

The two events are different. Last Destination D23 (2 years ago), we got a Lug backpack filled with goodies upon arrival. That's also when they gave us lanyards, I think it was inside.

Similar thing in 2021. I think they'll do it again, but I'd bring an old lanyard just in case.

How’d everyone do with their RSP for Pins? Literally the only one I put in for and didn’t get was the postage stamp Figment, but I was getting it for my friend and she decided she didn’t want it anyways.

I don't collect pins but DH and I are big Muppets fans so we thought we'd room the dice to see if we got that one. It worked out!

I thought that, too! But let's not get hopes up too much, they have live-streamed the previous two Destination D23 events as well. This is the first I've seen be "Gold Members" exclusive, but the whole concept of the D23 Gold Theater is new this year so it may just be because of that (they've been using this to re-run videos of popular panels from last year's convention)
