I LOVE your Harry Potter Night...movie nights are so much fun! I need to get pictures up of our latest ones. One of the questions coming home on the plane was whether or not movie nights would still continue...they wanted them! So I have been focusing on the 70s live action movies that I loved as a child!

Those chocolate frogs are adorable! Love 'em!

They are cute, aren't they?? We got them from dMIL for Valentines Day and I promptly put them away knowing EXACTLY what I would be using them for. lol

I will be doing a TR (PTR link in my siggie) when we get back, so if you'd like to hear about our trip, feel free to hop over.

I have never heard of pumpkin juice. May have to check that out.

I popped over last night and left a comment It will take me awhile to catch up though. haha

I preferred the Butterbeer but they were both sweet. You can google them to find recipes.

Thanks I'm glad to be having a break from them. DH just wants to DIG IN and it's like pulling teeth to get him to take a few pics first or to let me take a few pics. and there is so much prep work that they usually start eating before I finally sit down to join them. They are SO much fun to add to a movie night though and a GREAT memorty to look back on. 70's action movies would be fun! lol

Yay on the bathing suits!!!


You can change the colour of the font, if that's what you're talking about. There has been a glitch for a long time, but there is a way to do it manually. Click on the colour button twice and it should pop up saying .

Well you can change the word black to whatever other colour you want. Just make sure to leave everything else and no spaces or capitals! Hope that helps!

Loved your Harry Potter themed night; those chocolate frogs are pretty darn adorable!!! I wouldn't be able to eat them; I'd take them down to have a bite but then spend all my time laughing at them instead.

I can't believe how long your trip is going to be; hopefully you get to do every single last thing you have planned. And also, I hope we get to hear all about it once you return!!

OK, I better get on with the plans as I'm running out of time. I know this is dragging on and I'm into a lot of off site stuff or as some would call it "THE DARK SIDE" but I hope it doesn't bore you all enough to leave

This particular day is a bit busy but I'm HOPING and PRAYING (and I'd be greatful of anyone that would join in) that we can cancel DD's Learn to Surf day at TL and put it back into it's original spot we wanted it on May 1st. I waited too long and now am holding out for a cancelation UGH!! I just had some problems with dates I had to work out with DD before I was able to book it. In hindsight I maybe should have just booked 2 and cancelled the one that didn't end up working for us. Now I'm stuck with a BAD day!!

Oh well, if we don't get it cancelled here's what our day will look like. Hold on to your shorts b/c it's gonna be a BUSY ONE and it's happening after a LATE NIGHT

WAKE UP EEEAAAAARRRRLLLYYY for a 6:30 am surf lesson time (FINGERS CROSSED WE WON"T BE DOING THIS PART)

After surf lesson
PACK UP and leave the condo

CHECK IN TO THIS GLORIOUS PLACE...

It'll be our first time staying at such a fancy resort and we are tickled pink about it!!

We'll be checking in early but that's ok, We'll leave our luggage in the vehicle b/c really all we want is our keys to the park with express pass access

We will then head into ISLANDS OF ADVENTURE. I'm thinking by now it will be around a little after lunch. Lunch will be clean out the fridge at the condo. exciting I know.
We are just in the park to get some "atmosphere" and maybe get these rides out of the way...

Maybe do a bit of looking around at WWOHP or some other shops (wherever we can find without huge crowds)

possibly enjoy one of these...

or maybe one of these...

Folks, that there is what you call a FUNNEL CAKE SUNDAE!!! It's to DIE FOR by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

and then we'll make our way back to our resort (most likely WET from those watery rides) and change and head over to have a barbeque with the people from yesterdays wedding.


There is a SLIGHT chance we MIGHT skip this part if we are absolutely exhausted from the surf lesson that morning but after a few weeks of theme parking it would be a nice change to just sit down to a barbeque meal with some people we know and you can't beat a free meal and being cooked for right??? If we do go we will definitely be too tired to stay very long and we will graciously exuse ourselves early b/c we need to be up VERY early again the next morning too.

The chocolate frogs weren't all that great anyway - so it's better to just look at them. i think they were made with cheap chocolate and I'm a bit of a chocolate connoisoeur b/c I used to rent out a chocolate fountain and am used to the GOOD stuff with high cocoa butter content. This stuff was BLECH!!!

Mmmmm!! Doing some recipes from a Disney cook book would definitely help to bide the time away - sort of like when we had Dole Whips. I totally get the "not wanting to cook" though. I get like that at times too - the times when your like -OH, it's 5oclock and I have no clue what to cook for supper - guess i'll see what i can pull out of the freezer and throw into the oven. LOL

WANDS - um, ya - I should have stuck with pretzels!! aHAHAHAHA

ya, DISboards was being a bit annoying!! First it was shut down and then it took me almost an entire day to be able to log on

DAY 17 IS FOR ....

EARLY ENTRY FOR WIZZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER
We're really looking forward to seeing WWOHP. Not bc we are huge HP fans as a matter of fact we didn't read the books or watch the movies even until last fall when we decided to watch them all so we knew what to expect. Mostly we are excited for the new ride and one of our all time favorite coasters DUELING DRAGONS now known as DRAGON CHALLENGE.

So here's the plan...

7:20 - ARRIVE at turnstyles after a nice leisure walk over from our hotel
8:00 - head to FORBIDDEN JOURNEY (I'm still not sure if I'm doing this one. Soarin made me a bit nauseaus so I'm a bit worried that this simulator will too)
DRAGON CHALLENGE (probably twice - maybe even 3 times )
SAUNTER AROUND WWOHP and enjoy the scenery. IS IT TOO EARLY FOR FROZEN BUTTERBEER??? lol

We'll head out of Harry Potter land when the regular crowds start heading in and we'll make our way around the park enjoying ...

WHATEVER WE WANT!!! b/c we have unlimited EXPRESS PASSES so we can go where we want when we want with no real plans

We'll for sure hit this one....

YAY HULK!!! we'll probably do this one SEVERAL times!!

We'll definitely swing by SPIDERMAN and possibly a few times around there as well

We'll stop by TOON LAGOON for some fun pics like these...

We won't need to hit the water rides b/c we hopefully took care of that on Friday but we'll enjoy some time around SEUSS LANDING, ride a few rides there

I'm pretty sure with the help of the express passes, no need to do water rides and a good knowledge of exactly what rides we want to do we'll be finished up by around lunch time.

We'll probably take the rest of the afternoon to relax at the pool or take a nap if we aren't able to change DD's surf lesson from the day before.

for the evening we'll enjoy CITYWALK and possibly take in Universals new DRIVE IN MOVIE MINI GOLF course.
