I am wondering if you are able to take your desset back to your room at all restaurants. We have done it in the past at some. I am curious if Jiko allows you to do this.

I have not been to Jiko yet, but we did this at several restaurants last year. It does depend on what you want though. Some of the desserts don't travel well, or are a contamination hazard is not refrigerated properly, etc. Example, ice cream sundae - no, chocolate cake - yes. Just ask your server if the dessert you would like would be able to be made "to go" and they will let you know. If you have a question about a specific dessert right now I would call 407-WDW-DINE and ask them. :thumbsup2

I always wondered this. Especially if you are on the dining plan, you don't want the desert to go to waste.

Not specifically Jiko, but we did bring desserts back to the hotel many times! August heat and all the food on the dining plan and we just could not finish (or even start:rotfl2:) them!

You would not be able to walk up to Jiko and order just a dessert to go. However, if you're eating there and you don't want to finish your dessert they will pack it up for you to take with you. This may not be all that effective with frozen desserts of course.
