So, I have most of my Christmas Day dinner figured out. We are having a standing rib roast with horseradish sauce, cream cheese mashed potatoes (LeCellier recipe), roasted broccoli, and rolls. I don't know what to make for dessert though! So, I need some ideas.
The only real issue on what to pick is that the boyfriend is lactose intolerant. He can take Lactaid and is okay with dairy in smaller amounts but something like cheesecake is a big no! Especially since I am making the cream cheese potatoes already.

But given the latose intolerance angle, I'd go with making a pecan pie (no dairy there!) or passing a candy (some good chocolates or how about the liquor filled chocolates?) and cookie tray with flavored coffee.
