Dessert Recipe please!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I'm still debating what I want to take. Any cake recipes in a 13x9 pan that are extra yummy?

I will second one the cake recipes posted earlier. We call it Better than S** cake. German chocolate cake mix, caramel topping, whipped cream and chopped toffee on top. I always get rave reviews on that one.

Just made this and thought I would share. It is a Pinterest recipe for Reeses Peanut Butter Cup Fudge!

9x9 pan...line with foil and cooking spray. On bottom put 16 peanut butter cups...snack size.

In bowl mix 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk and three cups choc. chips. Microwave till melted together. Pour and spread over peanut butter cups. Sprinkle some chopped pb cups ontop and push down into mixture a bit.

Regrigerate a couple hours and cut into squares.

Unbelievably yummy! And so easy!!!

Dump Cake - an oldie but a goodie

I use a small can of crushed pineapple, not a whole big can. I've also made it with peaches instead of cherries, etc. My favorite variation is cherry pie filling (with or without pineapple), chocolate cake mix, and pecans on top (under the butter).

I make them the day before, to give the caramel a chance to cool. They are decadent!!!

Mississippi Mud cake

Pkg of devil food cake mix
1 stick butter
1 & 1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs
1teaspoon vanilla
Jar marshmallow cream 7 oz
Chocolate pan frosting

Mix cake mix, melted butter, buttermilk, eggs & vanilla like a cake mix. Put into greased 13 x 9 pan. Bake at 350 till done about 40 min.

Spread warm cake with marshmallow cream & pour hot chocolate frosting over that.
Can top with mini choc chips or chopped pecans if wanted.

chocolate pan frosting :
1 stick butter melted
4 tablespoons unsweeten cocoa powder
1/3 cup milk
4 cups powder sugar

Melt butter at low heat in saucepan. Stir in milk & cocoa powder, bring to boil stirring. Remove from hear & stir in powder sugar till smooth.

This is good, rich & easy!
