Dessert Question

Sooo.. question

We have reservations for Hollywood Brown Derby for my birthday. I know you get dessert with that on the DP. I'm just afraid I'll be full, lol. We are spending a day at Universal, so I will have an extra QS, TS, and snack. I really would like to try "the kitchen sink," I'll probably need reservations for that after because the restuarant that it's at is a TS. Question is should I make another reservation after Brown Derby, can this work? Will I HAVE TO get a dessert at Hollywoods Brown Derby? And how is the food there? ( Off topic, but curious)

Of course you don't HAVE to get dessert. It's not like they're going to hold you hostage until you eat all your cake! But you won't be able to use those dessert "credits" anywhere else. And you can't use any DP credits--TS, QS, or snack--for the kitchen sink. That's an out of pocket treat. Yes, you could make another ADR later on for Beaches & Cream if you want.

I love the food at Brown Derby, it is actually the only place we make advance ADRs for so we know we will get to eat there. You could get your dessert to go and put it in the fridge at your resort.

Hollywood Brown Derby is a signature restaurant so it will be 2 credits per person. If you are only planning to order the entree course it would be much better to pay out of pocket. HBD's dessert is a mini sampler trio or I think you can get a full size piece of the grapefruit cake. If you decide to use dining plan credits you could order the dessert and take it with you, but it can be hot and humid outside and you will have to carry it with you keep that in mind.

If you have dessert at Beaches and Cream the large Kitchen Sink will be OOP.
