I had a question regarding the dessert party at Epcot. Do you have to pay for admission into the park? How much is it per person?
How much will you have to pay for a venue to host a DP if you don't mind me asking??
There will prob be a group of 35 (including us)..so its the 12.95 for each person, we choose UK Lochside, which has a venue fee of 325.00...there is a 75.00 set up fee (for each DP location)...plus we are budgeting to spend about 20.00 per person on goodies. So roughly around $1600.00 (this includes taxes).
Im not decorating bc I dont think people will care about that, I feel like they will enjoy the goodies and the fire-works.
That's not that bad, I thought it would have cost much more. What kind of goodies are you doing for your guests?
We only had 12 people at ours, and because they were immediate family, we asked them to add a day to their park passes and use those instead of us paying the viewing fee. The viewing fee is $12.50 but the difference between a 5 and 6 day park hopper is only like $4. So that is something else to consider.
I'm not so sure that's the case, Nikisha421.
No matter what, you have to pay the site fee and the cost per person no matter what.
My question was, is it cost efficient to ask your guests to use a day's park admission-- Disney just raised this-- of $82 per person on a day when most of the day is going to be spent at a ceremony and reception.
For me, that's a no. I believe it's more cost efficient- and nicer to your guests- to just pay the $13 viewing fee if the DP is on the day of your wedding.
I guess the time of the wedding and reception play into this too- if the reception is over at 2 and the DP is at 9, that's seven hours your guests need to find something to do. Using a park admission makes sense.
I'm not so sure that's the case, Nikisha421.
