Dessert Party - Wishes or Illuminations?

Which do you think is the better choice?

Wishes had my vote till Star Wars DP at HS. Do yourself a favor a ditch W and I for SW.

I haven't done any of the parties, but have been thinking about it and these are my reasonings.

Wishes has seats but is an off-centre view and no alcohol.
Illuminations has wine but only standing room.
Star Wars has mixed drinks and a good viewpoint.

I would do the Star Wars party at DHS.

I don't drink, so that part of a party would be lost on me. Plus I'm just as happy buying a $5 ice cream bar and finding a good spot to sit and watch. But from a viewing perspective, not sure either one would be great. I see them setting up for Wishes in the Tomorrowland Terrace. I can't imagine that's a prime viewing spot, as I would think the terrace itself would obstruct your view unless you walk up to the railing. Illuminations has SO many good viewing spots, you can grab a drink and see it from anywhere around the World Showcase.

Downside of Illuminations is getting out. Unless you are at BW or Y&BC.

both are the same price
59.99 adult
39.99 kids
wishes is harder to find a good spot ( have to get there an hour+ to find one) and no FP
Illumination easer to find a spot 20 minutes before there still offer FP but they do have win at the desert party and wishes dose not.

I have done wishes dessert party and it was great.

I do have the star wars dessert party scheduled for Monday July 25th. Right now I also have the wishes dessert party scheduled for the next night Tuesday July 26th. I have the opportunity to cancel the wishes and get illuminations for Wednesday July 27, so there would be one day between the two dessert parties.

Which would you do? Or should I just go with just one dessert party (star wars) for the trip?
