Dessert Party...Meant to NOT be???

Not sure if this is in the right section..

Hi All!

So I had my heart set on the Wishes Dessert party on November 29th, which is MK Extra Magic Hours. I called a week ago to make sure they still had it available and they did but I couldn't book it because I needed to wait until my pay check. So I called back last night and the 29th is all booked up but they have December 1st, so I had to wait until today (Friday) because that is when I got paid.

I called at lunch and the 1st was not available anymore!!!! I was so sad. I wanted this trip to be perfect and really wanted to do this but now it doesn't look like it will happen.
My question for everyone is 1.) Should I forget about it and realize it is not meant to be??
2.) What is the chance that if I call back every day I would get in from someone that cancelled???

I should have booked it when they were available but I couldn't! I guess it is a lesson learned. I still want to do it but not if it will be impossible to find a reso?

I'd keep trying, but maybe wait awhile. I'm sure people will cancel as the time gets closer. Unlike an ADR (as you know) you have to pay up front. So it's almost guaranteed that someone will need to cancel their trip and in doing so, cancel their reservation to get their money back. Maybe add your need to the cancel/need thread and explain what you need, so if someone does cancel, they could tell you. I got lucky and got mine first try for 12/13. Good Luck!
