Dessert party during the Halloween party

Has anyone been able to book a dessert party during MNSSHP this year? The dessert party has been opened up through December, but so far I have been unable to get a reservation on a Halloween party night. I can get a reservation on a Christmas party night or a regular Wishes night – but not during the Halloween party.

I’ve tried all of the “tricks” that fellow DISsers have offered…like booking under the “Special Events Dining” prompt…and asking the CMs to look under “fireworks” dessert party instead of “Wishes” dessert party. In each case, the CMs tell me there is no dessert party on Halloween nights.

But, both the DIS and AllEars are reporting that the party is available on all nights between now and December. So, I’m confused about who’s right – the DIS and AllEars or the dining CMs?

So, has anyone been able to book a dessert party this year during the Halloween party?

I am in the same boat...I have been to told no dessert party on the Halloween Party nights

I don't know about the Halloween party but I did book mine yesterday for the Christmas party. Did you call a couple of different times? I had to call twice. The first time I was told that they were only booking through August, I called right back and could book for 12/10. Good luck.

According to other posts I 've seen, they are not booking the dessert party at all on Halloween party nights, although they ARE booking it during MVMCP. This has been reported a number of times so I'm assuming it's true in all cases.

Because Disney never announced that it would be following this particular schedule, I am sure the unofficial websites assumed the schedule would be every night, the same as last year.

Okay, I probably already know the answer but I'll ask anyway. If I go to the dessert party on a Christmas Party night, I need to have tickets for the Christmas Party as well right?

I agree...I was just hoping that the CMs I've talked too were wrong, because my DW and DD really wanted to go. We did the dessert party last year during MNSSHP and they really enjoyed it.

Maybe Disney is not doing the dessert party during MNSSHP this year because they plan to use that space for something else on those nights?
