Dessert Party Availability

My 17 year old son and I are going to Disney World in March for a graduation trip. Neither of us want to make to many commitments before we go because we kinda want to "see how we feel" for adrs and other extras. What is the availability of the different fireworks dessert parties day of or day before like?

They are possible but not probable. They usually sell out but not 100% of the time. If there is one you want to do, book it. If you are fine gambling and doing one only if there are openings left, you can wait.

just make sure you know the specific cancellation policy, they are longer than 24 hours.

Yeah, you have to pre pay and if you want to cancel you have to do it at least 5 days out or it’s non refundable

Kind of... you have to pre pay for them in order to reserve your spot and if you want to cancel you have to do it at least 5 days before hand instead of a day

Yes but that's because they never release the dates for them that early, so you can't book earlier

No to both
They don't sell out fast. We are going in early March and can book for any dates during our trip.
No, no way to get any alerts of when they open that I know of. I haven't looked to see if Touring Plans has them on their alert system or not, it's just never been necessary to stalk them

It is very hodge podge and varies a lot by party.
As an example, Frozen Dessert party dates for March 1 and on were just released over this past weekend. Dates for all other dessert parties have been out for weeks.
It's pretty unusual for them not to be released by the time you are ready to make your FP, so by 60 days.
