Okay - I need some help.

DD (5) and I are headed to the world at the end of August. :cool1: A very good friend of mine is trying to decide if she and her ds (3) will go at the same time. We will most likely stay at different hotels and join up for some things each day. She is a very easy going person and is almost as much of a disney addict as I am. Her ds and my dd get along great!

Since I recently moved to the west coast we are not able to visit as much as we like. So this would provide the perfect time for us to visit, for our kids to play, and for the kids to have a great vacation.

I need help convincing her. Her DH is overseas and she needs a little bit of adventure to take her mind off of her worry for a little bit. She can afford the trip so financial conerns are not a worry. She went with her ds and dh last year so there are no "first time to WDW" issues.

I have bomarded her with WDW info (websites, links, our plans and ADRs.) I just need a little something else just one more little push and I think she will take the bait.

So does anyone have any ideas?

One way to get her to go is to sike her up! tell her about all of the wonderfull things at waltdisney world. If you get her excited about the trip, she'll difinitly make more of an effort of planning. I dont know if you talk to her on the phone, but if you do, make your voice sond exciting, and if you type to her use alot of exclamtion points!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Maybe she would feel more comfortable staying in the same hotel, maybe even adjoining rooms. She may not feel that comfortable traveling alone with her DS :( . If you plan the trip as a team, knowing she would have another adult with her in the parks and at the restaurants may make her feel more secure :goodvibes . Of course maybe you could also send a heart wrenching video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=17iep99hJe8 :rolleyes1

:confused3 Shouldn't the name Disney just be enough???

Thats what I think! But she is teetering on the edge about to make her reservation I just want to give her that last little encouragement. She says she is going but I will only believe it once I hear that she has a reservation number! :rotfl2:

As for the person who suggested we stay at the same hotel - I did offer that. You are right in that it will make it easier for both of us to have another adult there. So thanks for the suggestion!

So far I have sent her two e-mail tonight and I am working on my third so when she gets up in the am she will be bombarded with all things disney!! :cheer2:

Yeahhhhhhh!!!!! Maybe you could write a joint TR. I, for one, would be interested in the dual perspective! :cool1:
