Desperately need SW experts here!!!

Ok - leaving in a week. I have never been to Sea World and we plan to spend 12/5 there. We will get there first thing and want to do at much as possible.
Questions:

Happy Harbour Rides say there is a 42" height requirement. Is that to ride alone? Can my 2 year old ride as long as she is with an adult? So confused b/c the site says both.

Same question for the Shamu roller Coaster? Says 42" requirement. Can she ride with us or do you actually have to be 42"? The website says the whole family except handheld infants in one part and in another says 42" requirement. HELP!

What about Wild Artic? Is the motion simulator worth the time? Would my 4 year old like it?

Should we feed dolphins first or ride the big rides like Kraken?

And finally...is the underwater grill any good? Mixed reviews from what I read!

We went for feeding the dolphins first, but then had no intentions of riding Kraken. I must say that feeding the dolphins was likely the highlight of our entire vacation. . which was pretty fantastic. My kids talk about it all the time and look at those pics often. They have taken them to school again this school year (we went this past spring) to show their teachers and friends. My opinion is feeding the dolphins can not be missed and should be done as often as possible. Get the the park early, go directly to the dolphin feeding area and buy multiple trays of fish - remember, cash only!

Also, we at at Shark's Underwater Grill and enjoyed it. The food was good, if not excellent, but the experience was excellent. We would definitely do it again.

Wild Arctic was ok - but I thought it was too jerky and I got motion sick. . .which, by the way, I don't get motion sick. I gave it a C-, but others will tell you they loved it. Most attractions are subjective, depending on what you enjoy. I would think with a 4 year old you could give it a pass and spend more time in the children's play area.

My daughter Tiffany still talks about feeding the dolphins and we went in April of this year. I would suggest the you take your time feeding the dolphins, cause they (dolphins) will not come back close to you if you don't have any fish to feed them. Also make sure you buy enough fish since they don't let you go back to buy more unless you want to go back to the end of the line.

Yep, I was sad when they changed it to a feeding and non-feeding side....I still love petting the stingrays though. The animals are most active in the mornings so if that is your thing do it first. The rides can have long lines (especially after show breaks) and always make sure to be to the shows early as it states on the map. I love Sharks Underwater Grill....the chocolate moon dessert....SIGH,

Thanks for the info guys! Truly appreciated! Does anyone know about Happy Harbour? Can my two year old ride the rides with me there if she doesn't meet the height requirement? On the website it says something about riding with an adult? Very confused on whether the height requirements are in place to ride alone or with an adult? She is short for her age but some of the rides seem very similar to Disney rides that she can ride so long as she is with an adult.

Another poster mentioned being at the shows early. . . that is excellent advice. Not just 10 minutes early either, like 30 minutes. If you go to blue horizons, which I HIGHLY recomend, along with the killer whale show as well, go to the entrance to the stadium. There is one at each side. A rope will be up, but get in line, by the front of the rope so you can get primo seats. Some will tell you there's not a bad seat in the house, which maybe there isn't, but some are definitely better than others. I recommend right in the middle section several rows up so you are in the shade,unless you want to get splashed. I also recommend aisle seats so you can exit quicker after the show. Plan to do something that is not near a stadium as a show lets out. . .rides, restrooms and eateries are packed. Either plan to move to another part of the park, or do some shopping or whatever right after a show. We took 2 days for seaworld and that allowed us to take our time and get to all the things we really wanted to see without killing ourselves with that comando touring and were still tired at the end of the day.

Regarding your questions about the little one's play area. . . I'm not sure of the answer as my kids are older now, but I would call the park just to be absolutely certain if the website does not clearly answer your question.

Our DD was definately under 42" when she rode some of the kiddie rides with me at SW. I'm guessing their height requirement is for kids riding alone.

That is the minimum height requirement - if your DD is less than the requirement she can't ride at all. If you look at the SW site for this - look at the bottom of the page. It tells you they have additional requirements for children between 42 and 48 inches - they need to have an adult.
