I'm on WW and had a fantastic first week loss. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't been back. I am afraid I have gained and don't want to go back tonight. I didn't exercise at all last week ( I had been going to the gym 3-4 or 5 times a week!) I don't know what happened. :confused3 I just seemed to lose all of my drive.

Mermaid02, I'm just passing through and saw your post. Honey, you just have to forgive yourself for the past, get back up on your horse, and look to the future. I've made so many big and small falls in my life and the most important thing I've learned about them is that you can't beat yourself up over what happened in the past. All you can do is change your future. Go face your weigh-in at WW with your head held high because you have a new determination to do it right this week. They aren't there to tear you down. They're there to help you improve. You can do this!!! :thumbsup2

Dittto what GreatDaneMom said. We've all been their. Just start it again today. I'm sure that's the norm when you get started; it's hard to stick to it. Just take one day at a time. That's what I'm going to do. Go back now before it's been a month. You can do it. You just had a little bump in the road. Good luck. :cheer2:

mermaid -- you are not alone -- i have been there and i have read lots of posts from others who have been there, chances are at your meeting there will be LOTS of WW who have been there too -- we all understand how hard it is and can be. the difference this time is you are back, you are requiring more of yourself this time around b/c the changes towards a healthy lifestyle are important and you are worth it! one baby step forward today, just get through today. i'm right there with you. i have done not as good for about 3 weeks and i'm trying real hard to refocus. WE CAN DO THIS!

don't look back, its in the past now -- the difference is in moving forward towards your healthy future! hang in there -- let us know how it goes today and at your meeting tonight!

Wow, I can relate. I had a really decadent, lazy weekend. Pizza on Friday at work, then I liked it so much on Friday I ordered it again yesterday. No exercise at all-and I had been doing great for the last couple of weeks. So this morning, I got my butt up, went to the gym and got right back on track. I know it sounds corny, but it's true that every morning we get a new chance to start living healthy.
I did WW a few years ago and I can tell you that the people there will be supportive and understanding because they have ALL been there. It's ok if you gained, use it as motivation to stay strong today! I still use the techniques I learned at WW-I started journaling again today because I've been so unconcious about the food I've been putting in my mouth.
You may not be able to see us, but know that we're all there with you in spirit.

We just got back from a mini non Disney vacation and I just knew I had gained. But when I got on the scale for my WI I was VERY surprised at how little I had gaind, granted it was 1.4 lbs but I seriously though it would be closer to 3 or 4 lbs!

Yes you to need to be responsible for what you are eating but no one at WW will ever make you feel bad, even for a gain :)

I think that's why I love it so much! The only time I was 'chewed' out was when I over did it walking right after my Dr cleared me to walk for excerise and my foot hurt. My leader did tell my to slow it down for a while. So I did, I went back down to just 10 to 20 min. walks 3 times a week and now I have worked up to 45 min to 1 hour walks 5 to 6 times a week plus 20 mins of yoga in the mornings.

Take it slow, you will have gains and set backs, it's the way life is, but you will lose, you will become healthier and you will succed :)

Good luck on your weigh in :):):)

It is so hard sometimes to break through the wall. Just think about going one day at a time. You don't have to be perfect, aim for improvement. You WW leader will be able to support you, and as you go back to your meeting, look around at all the success other people are having, and that just might provide the motivation to keep at it.

Hopefully you went last night, and if not, then just think that today is a great day to work through and get on track again, so you can go to your next meeting with your head held high.

I'm looking to hear that you took one step at a time. That is what it is all about. You can do this!

Keep on keepin' on. One step at a time.
