Desperate Housewives! ***spoilers******

I wondered if maybe Rex might be the narrator of series two??? The Mary-Alice story seems to have concluded pretty much now, so I think it needs a few changes to keep it moving on. Lynette going back to work and Tom at home could be quite amusing! Not sure where they will go with the Mike and Susan relationship though....?

I saw Mike (James Denton) interviewed on one of the E! programs the other week - all the Desperate Housewives lot were at the Disney Land 50th opening celebrations. He was really nice and said he felt terrible that as he worked for Disney (the show is made by a Disney subsidury co), they get taken to the head of all the rides and he hated it! All the little kids would stare and point and made him feel bad. Awwww, sweet in real life as well! Unlike the female stars....allegedly :teeth: .

I think the only one not coming back is Edie, but I dont think she is a great loss!

That's a very interesting idea! :scratchin

Poor Susan - whatever the outcome, it's not going to be fantastic for her. Mike gets shot by Zach/ Mike shoots Zach and goes to prison or on the run/ Mike IS Zach's dad, they reconcile and Susan has to put up with mad Zach being around a lot!!!

Hmmmm, Rex as narrator? I like it :teeth:

Brilliant idea!!
Edie always seemed to be the outsider. How do you know she won't be back???

Gossip on Entertainment Tonight I think, Di, so it must be true!!

Edited to add, that the young man that plays Zach was arrested for possesion of an illegal substance, so his apperance in series two is likely to be brief :teeth: Another gem from Entertainment Tonight! How I love that American trashy gossip show!

Oh I watch that sometimes - do keep us up to date on any juicy gossip!! Have they filmed the second series yet?

Just watched the repeat on E4 and am a tad confused! :confused3

It does tie things up ok and leave a bit for next season but where was the big bang? Are we supposed to be upset about Rex? I never really liked him anway so no huge loss, I dont like george though so hope he doesnt latch onto Bree now!

Rex narrating is a cool idea!

:flower:

Jodie

Cant wait till the next series! :)

Me too , Jen, Did Toms big secret come out in the end? I can't seem to remember that it did! so that looks like a storyline for next time, also think it would be good if Rex did narrate, also think Bree will get done for Rex's murder but george will blackmail her to sleep with him to get her off! thats my theory, what confused me the whole way through was that I presumed Dana was agirls name!

What was Toms big secret? He found out that Lynette had asked his boss to skip him for promotion.

One thing that didnt make sense to me in the final episode is that why did Angela/Mary and Paul move to that area after they took the baby? They knew that Mrs Huber lived there, they must have known that her sister would visit her at some point and would recognise them???

I know Jen I didn't get that either, what I meant about Toms big secret, was in the episode when his dad came to visit and Lynette found about his dads affair the mary alice narration said we'd all got secrets and Toms dad said something to him like 'have you ever told her?' so that little storyline didn't really come about, couldn't figure it.

Wow I totally forgot about that! Could it have been that he had given his ex a job where he works? Or maybe it will be revealed next series??? In Nov it should be showing in the states so Im hoping to see a few episodes early!

It was obvious that Mrs Huber's sister disliked her, maybe she had made a big thing about that, so Angela didn't think it would be a problem. Even so, it's not the best plot idea - but I suppose you've got to do something to make the story tie together.

Yay! Jen, I forgot about that, maybe we should have our Dis meet in front of the all star movies, tv screen! :rotfl2:

Or maybe they didn;t know Mrs Huber was her sister??? And by the time they realised (if they ever did) it was too late. I didn;t get the impression Felicia & Mrs Huber would have spent much (any?) time together :teeth:

They did know Mrs Huber was her sister, in the last episode it showed Mrs Hubers sister at work with Angela and she showed her a calender of where Mrs Huber lived and said how beautiful it was.

Great idea Carolfoy!! :rotfl2:

warning - some season 2 spoilers

Rex is definatly dead - Bree was based on the creators mum... 'his demise was a long time coming. "Bree is based on my mom. And my dad died, so I told poor Steven, 'Had my dad lived, you'd still have a job.'" Rex won't be the last Wisteria Lane resident to bite the dust, Cherry reveals. "Somebody will meet a surprising end at least once a year," he says.' But he may be back in flashbacks.

The new family has a dark secret, some scenes from the final episode were dropped and will probably be included next season. Aparently the new family will be the new mystery for next season. 'Betty Applewhite came to Wysteria Lane with something to hide, and we're going to find out exactly what she's hiding in the season premiere," says Kevin Murphy co-executive producer. All Marc Cherry will say about the Applewhites is that "they come on the street; they seem like nice people - but they've got a secret. And it's pretty gothic. It's real and human and awful all at the same time."

Psycho George ill be back. '"Desperate Housewives" villain Roger Bart -- who plays the show's pharmacist with a homicidal bent -- will join the hit ABC series full-time next season.'

Edie should be back. 'According to Nicollette Sheridan: "Edie will make it into the next season, yes, and so will her house," she tells me. "Her house will be built next season, and her 6-yr-old son that we heard about in the pilot is going to come visit." Edie will stay a fifth wheel. Because of viewers' strong reaction to Nicollette Sheridan, her character next season will be given a never-before-seen ex-husband and a 6-year-old son. But Cherry insists Edie will continue serving only as a spoiler to complicate the other women's lives.

Aparently John the gardner will be back next season.

Carlos will be back. 'Series creator Marc Cherry told me that he's constructing a prison set for Ricardo Chavira to shoot his scenes in. "He'll be in there for a while," Cherry said. "We'll see him pulling strings from inside the jail cell."

Only Denton (Mike Delfino) is a likely candidate for series longevity. And putting into question the fate of Gabrielle's current men - lover John (Metcalfe) and husband Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira), who is headed off to prison - Cherry and his writers are conceiving a new suitor for Gabrielle in Season 2.

British soap star Kacey Ainsworth has been hired for a three-episode guest stint. According to one of Ainsworth's co-stars on the BBC's 'EastEnders,' Ainsworth will be playing an English nanny on 'Desperate Housewives.' This probably means she'll be joining the Scavo household to take care of Lynette's kids.

Cherry says he expects to bring Paul, Zack and Mary Alice back next season — and Strong (Mary Alice) is contracted to be both heard and seen throughout the series' anticipated seven-year run.

well obviously some of them will change!

oh, and i read a rumor that Tom's secret was that he had a secret 2nd family, but i'm not sure if this was ever confirmed or it may be in the 2nd season :confused3
