Desparate Help needed Airllineconsolidator.com?????

This is a little OT -- but I need some help. I'm going to make this short as possible....my daughter bought 6 roundtrip tickets on Air Canada to England from LAX for this Aug. After it was completed on the computer....in fact...24 hours later, someone calls her and says we never should have sold you those tickets at that price...we're cancelling your reservations! She asked to speak to the person's manager and he told her there was no one there she could talk to. WHAT????? Are they allowed to do this? Her printer Is broken, so she saved all her emails....and had me print them out for her. Is there anything we can do....she's so upset.
Can soneone please advise us what to do? Thank you so much...

I doubt there is much she can do. Have you contacted the CC company to verify the charges weren't charged? I would also consider calling Air Canada and seeing what they say.

You might cross post this in Transportation. I know Safety Mom and some other frequent travelers over thier might have some ideas. I travel a lot, but have never used a consolidator.

As far as I know, ALL online travel agencies (expedia, travelocity, etc.) reserve the right to cancel the reservation and issue you a full refund if they find they issued the tickets in error. If you read the fine print that your daughter most likely agreed to in order to use the website, I bet something to that effect is writen there.

Unfortunatly, as long as they issue a full refund, your daughter won't have a leg to stand on.
