My husband bought me a Coach purse for my birthday and I have to say I absolutely love it. I don't usually spend that much on purses, but this purse is proving to me there's a difference in quality. Probably the sturdiest purse I've ever owned.

I bought a Dooney and Burke "it" bag last Feb. I love it. Colorful and fun, very durable. I have wanted either a D and B or Coach bag since I was in my teens and I finally splurged and went for it. It was $140. The sales person told me that if I register my purse with Dooney and Burke, that when I tire of it I can trade it in for 1/2 its value toward a new D and B bag! That's good customer service!

Dooney and Bourke~my mom got it for me.....and call me crazy, but I want a Louis Vuitton too!!! I am hoping to get to tThe Summit one day this October, and go to the Louis Vuitton store!!

The problem with owning an LV is that it's addictive, you can't just have one!

Around here the big thing is Vera Bradley purses. I have a couple and they only cost around 40 - 60 dollars. They are quilted with lots of designs. Occasionally I will buy an expensive leather wallet, but I keep them forever. I have a Liz Claiborne one now that I have had for something like 6 years.

I have a Coach purse, but it was gift and I never use it. Dh's former company bought them for all upper management's wife's and female employees and the men got Coach travel bags (small). I haven't ever bought a "designer" purse. I like Liz Claiborne purses alot, but don't usually spend over $50, if it is over $50, I wait for a sale! I like the ones with the little umbrellas and cell phone holders that come with them, for free!

I used to have a green D&B. I don't know what I was thinking because I don't even own anything green. I also did the LV thing but the pattern is just too busy -- no offense all you LV lovers!

Now I have a couple of Coach purses and I love them. As others have said, they hold up well. I don't spend that kind of money on shoes or clothes so, really, it's my only vice.

The only purses I have are Liz Clairborne. I love her purses. Certainly not as expensive as the ones you listed but then I can buy plenty of them and not feel bad!

I would never spend that much on a purse. Plus, I get bored with my purses too often, and want a new one. I shop the Kohl's clearance section, coupon in hand for an extra 15% off , and get a new purse about every 3 months.

The most I've ever paid for a purse is $25.00.

I remember when Liz C's were all the rage, I still have 5 from the mid-to-late 1980's that I don't have the heart to part with! I don't know why I'm saving them!

Vera Bradley has taken over here in my part of Virginia, just about everyone has one, or a knockoff.

Bags are my weakness. I am currently carrying a Prada, but also have Gucci, a couple of Kate Spades, Fendi, Isabella Fiore and Tods. That's almost embarassing, after seeing it in black and white, LOL!

I love my Louis Vuittons'. I have several including 4 Murakamis 3 white and 1 black.

I also just bought the duffle and a small travel bag on wheels - love it!!

I have several Coach's, including a briefcase. They are made very well. I have my eye on a Kate Spade next. I also like Burburry.

I have 2 coach bags and LOVE them. but then, I am one of those people who will use them for years and years. I don't change them with every outfit, I don't change them every few months. My sisters both carry cheaper bags but have tons of them. I'd say we spend the same amount of money.

of course, lately I mostly carry a diaper bag, but hey, my coach bags will still look great and be in style when the kids aren't in diapers anymore
